HydroCLimate IMPact Lab
ABOUT US
Foreseeing the impacts of hydroclimate change in the 21st century
Welcome to the Hydroclimate Impact (HydroCLIMP) lab at the Department of Geography & Sustainability of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. We are interested in understanding hydroclimate impacts on society, with a particular interest in emerging hydroclimate risks. Climate Change is already impacting us, but many vulnerable people live in the tropics. In fact, the tropics are home to ~40% of the world's population and hold ~80% of global biodiversity. We are interested in investigating our current and past hydroclimatic conditions to better understand the future. To do so, we use instrumental and paleoclimate records and climate models.
